Merry Christmas

Yoohoo Family...and friends!
This week was busy busy with Christmas (and I hope you all enjoyed Christmas)
We delivered packages Christmas eve from 10 am to 8 pm! Holy cow was
that a long day! I definitely know I do not want to be a deliver
person when I grow up!

The holidays make it hard to find people to talk to since no one is home,
however it was still a good week.

Interesting news, our area is being moved to just the East stake in
Pocatello! I am really bummed that we won't be in YSA wards anymore.

The biggest lesson I learned this week is once again the importance of
serving God. Like in any aspect of life people want to be at the top.
Captain of the team, President of the club or an assistant to the
President in a mission. And those are good desires but when they
become your main focus you lose site of your purpose, like winning the
game, helping the club, or bringing people unto Christ. When we just focus
on our main purpose it cuts out drama, back stabbing, feeling
inadequate and things like that. God has made life simple and when we
put trust in Him and obey with exactness, we will not stumble through
life. HE is the ultimate source of happiness. God lives as does His
only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. And because of that we too may live
again in their presence!

I love you all! Have  a great week!

Love,
Elder Rush

" 14 But behold, the Jews were a stiffnecked people; and they despised
the words of plainness, and killed the prophets, and sought for things
that they could not understand. Wherefore, because of their blindness,
which blindness came by looking beyond the mark, they must needs fall;
for God hath taken away his plainness from them, and delivered unto
them many things which they cannot understand, because they desired it.
And because they desired it God hath done it, that they may stumble."
Jacob 4:14

Merry Christmas to us, we got to Skype Elder Rush and see his handsome face!
He's still goofy and adorable!

Sledding fun with the amazing Stoddards

Elder Rush used the box I sent his Christmas presents in. It didn't last very long!

Elder Rush mastering the Elder Fontes pouring orange syrup into a raspberry. He's really concentrating, look at his tongue!

Cookie decorating!

Dan and Barbie Stoddard. My Idaho Angels!

The Stoddards sure spoiled Elder Rush and Elder Dalling
I never knew that is what a pillow case is used for? :)

Melted my heart, Elder Rush taking his first piano lesson from my piano teacher, Charlotte Hughes, on the piano she taught me on.

Charlotte Hughes is Barbie Stoddard's angel mother.
